When you clicked the link, your first impression could be that I am as tired as you. That I am as done and hopeless as you.

Your thought could be that I am writing this as a means to express my feelings and then would guide you to tell you that everything is going to be okay. That’s what every article and most what you’ll search on the net is going to tell you—that everything is going to be okay and things will turn out the way how you want it to be. But I am not here to tell you that.

At the back of your head and in the deepest of your heart, you know no matter how many times you are trying to run away from what’s making you constantly tired, you’ve been going back to the same place?

But before you feel discouraged, don’t be. Read on.

As you are reading this, has your mind already been wandering so far away from the present towards to the problem that has been bothering you?

I had the same problem. I used to wander so far away from the present and got lost into my own thoughts that it was so difficult to be come back. Sometimes, it’s wonderful when you can finally connect the dots. Sometimes, it’s just painful when you wandered to the darker corner of your thoughts.

Nowadays, it’s so easy to be distracted. Everything around us is trying to catch our attention that makes everything seem greener on the other side. The lives that we see in our social media feed and then how we are constantly affected by what other people are doing and achieving.

So once upon a time, it was rewarding to ponder and reflect upon our lives. But most of the time spent on the reflection became a moment when start comparing ourselves with others and how deprived we’d feel in the end.

Yes, you are tired. Yes, I know you want your feelings to be acknowledged. Yes, I know you’ve been searching for something. I not just know, I understand.

Nothing hurts more than not having a clear sense of direction of where you’d like to go. If you’ve ever dreamed about walking on a path

But let me be honest with you.

I am willing to tell you that maybe, not everything will turn out how you want it to be.

I am willing to tell you that nothing is ever going to be easy and that you won’t get everything that you want. You will reach a point in your life when you can’t take it because the stakes are high, and the consequences could make you lose everything that you ever had or worked hard for. You will reach rock bottom. Everyone has their own version, for if you haven’t, then perhaps, great things aren’t meant to be reached yet.

But first you have to promise yourself after this. You have to stop escaping. You have stop running away. You will never stop being tired if you keep running away. You won’t ever grow out of it if you wouldn’t embrace and challenge it.

The first thing that you need to do to stop feeling tired is let go.

I am not going to tell you a list of things on what you should do but instead, I am telling you to let go. Accept that you are where you’re meant to be. God has destined you to be here for a reason but let’s just find the reason once you’re ready. Once you are ready to let go.

Let go of your past. Let go of what’s been bringing you down. Let go of your ego to control everything. Let go of perfectionism. Let go of labels that you’ve been telling yourself all these years. Let go of the idea that you are limited by your circumstances. Let go.

It doesn’t happen over night. It can’t. But now your focus is letting go. Write, paint or whatever means you’d like to do it, but just let go.

Only after you let go, then we’ll get on to the next stage of growth.

Thank you for reaching to the end.

Authenticity allows people to enter our world without forcing them to. Authenticity ripples into the hearts of others to create change without disrupting their own flow. So I write because of that. I also love coffee and cats. Intensely.
